Lankford and Shannon: Their donors and their expenses

U.S. Rep. James Lankford, R-Oklahoma City, and state Rep. T.W. Shannon, R-Lawton, have recently filed campaign finance reports covering their contributions and expenditures for April, May and the first week of June.

The two are vying for the GOP nomination for the seat being vacated by U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Muskogee, who is stepping down after the current congressional session.

There are seven Republican candidates in the race. The primary is June 24. A run-off if necessary is Aug. 26.
