The Sue and Bill Gross Surgery and Procedure Center is named after the philanthropists who donated the money through the Gross Family Trust.
The center is a key part of the 11-story, 820,000-square-foot pavilion, which opens next summer.
The entire fifth floor will be dedicated to the 50,000-square-foot surgery and procedure center.
The Sue and Bill Gross Skywalk bridge will connect the center with the medical center.
