Long lines for early voters and expected crowds at the polls Tuesday could leave some voters concerned about spending extra time away from work on Election Day.

STATE STATUTE

TITLE 26,

SECTION 7-101

→Employers must give registered voters two hours during voting hours with pay

→Workers must notify employers Monday if they plan to vote

→Violators face fines of $50 to $100 per violation
