Lawton police seek assistance identifying armed robbers

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying several people they say committed a series of armed robberies. Police say the group robbed or tried to rob eight people since July 9.

— Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying several people they say committed a series of armed robberies.

One man was described as a black male, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds. One woman is described as a black female, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 180 pounds. Police also are seeking a white female and a white or mixed-race man. Witnesses said the group drove a blue four-door car.

Police say the group has robbed or tried to rob eight people since July 9. Police say one of the men also shot at a motorist as she drove west on Gore Boulevard in Lawton.
