Lawyers sought for pro bono work to help Oklahoma veterans

The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program is seeking volunteers to handle Veteran’s Administration cases.

The Veterans Consortium Pro Bono Program is seeking volunteer lawyers to assist veterans who are entitled to Veterans Administration benefits.

A seminar will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 5 at Crowe and Dunlevy, 20 N Broadway, Suite 1800. There also will be webinar and video conferencing available.

The seminar is free, in exchange for handling one appeal case on a pro bono basis. The cases are screened before being assigned. Lawyers do not need prior experience and do not need to reside near the court.
