MIAMI (AP) — LeBron James says that "at this point" he cannot envision a scenario where he leaves the Miami Heat this summer.

James made the comments in a wide-ranging interview with NBA TV. The Heat star can choose to become a free agent after this season by exercising an option in the contract he signed with Miami in 2010.

James stopped short of saying that he will absolutely stay with the Heat. He says his primary focus this season has been on helping the Heat win what would be a third straight NBA championship.

And when the season is over, James says he "will assess what I have to do with my future."
