LeBron: Kevin Durant deserves to win MVP award

LeBron James of the Miami Heat says Thunder forward Kevin Durant would be a deserving winner of the NBA's Most Valuable Player award.

It's expected that Durant will be announced as the MVP winner some time this week, possibly as early as Tuesday, the day in between Game 1 and 2 of the the Thunder's Western Conference semifinal series against the Los Angeles Clippers.



"Much respect to him and he deserves it," James said. "He had a big-time MVP season."
