What is the greatest individual season by a player at each of the 128 FBS schools?

In conjunction with its "The Season" promotion, ESPN released its list of the best Wednesday, with Lee Roy Selmon's 1975 season ranking as the best in OU history.

Selmon had plenty of competition, but ESPN gave Selmon the nod for racking up 132 tackles and 10 sacks, leading the Sooners to the national title, and picking up Outland and Lombardi Awards along the way. Honorable mention awards went to Billy Sims 1978, Adrian Peterson 2004 and Sam Bradford 2008.

Selmon's '75 season rates among the best defensively in college football history.

There was no question as to which was the greatest season in Oklahoma State history. Barry Sanders' 1988 Heisman-winning campaign was the standout, and it's still going strong in ESPN's "The Season" bracket as the No. 1 seed. Sanders is in the semifinals against Cam Newton.
