SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — San Francisco 49ers left guard Mike Iupati is back in the lineup after missing three games with a sprained left knee.

Iupati is active for Monday night's game against Atlanta and expected to start when the 49ers try to clinch a playoff berth in the final regular-season game at Candlestick Park.

Among the inactive players for the 49ers is wide receiver Mario Manningham, who continues to have issues with his surgically repaired left knee.

For Atlanta, Stephen Nicholas started at linebacker in place of Sean Weatherspoon, who injured a knee in the fourth quarter last week against Washington.
