Colon has missed two games due to a left knee bruise. On Thursday, he said he would be a game-time decision. Last week, in a 23-20 win over Baltimore, All-Pro center Maurkice Pouncey moved over to take his place, while Doug Legursky started at center.

The Steelers (7-5) announced Thursday that quarterback Ben Roethlisberger would return for the game against the Chargers (4-8) as well. Joining him will be receiver Jerricho Cotchery, who missed time with a rib injury.

Fullback Will Johnson (concussion) and safety Ryan Clark (hip) are among other Steelers listed as probable. All-Pro safety Troy Polamalu will play after practicing Friday following two days off. Polamalu played sparingly vs. the Ravens.

Linebacker LaMarr Woodley, however, will miss his second consecutive game due to a high ankle sprain sustained two weeks ago.
