Moore library to host holiday gala

The Moore Public Library's 21st annual Holiday Gala will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at the library, 225 S. Howard Ave. The evening will feature a gingerbread house contest and auction provided by Aging Services Inc. and cookie decorating provided by Platt College. The Northmoor Star Bright Choir, the St. Andrews Catholic Church Bell Choir, Sooner Sensations and the Santa Fe Honor Choir will perform, and the Norman Music Institute will lead a sing-a-long. Santa Claus will be on hand to pose for photos with children. Photos will be available for pickup at the library after Dec. 14.

Library sponsors craft event

“A Very DIY Yuletide” crafts program for ages 18 and up will be 7 p.m. Monday in Room A at the Moore Public Library. Participants will make holiday wreaths and other seasonal crafts to take with them for decorations. Supplies will be provided by the library. The event is free, but advance registration is required. Noble Library to host book sale

The Friends of the Noble Public Library will hold a holiday book sale from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Dec. 8 at the library, 204 N 5th St. Books and other items representing all genres will be available.
