A mild spring day with light wind and temperatures in the low 80s is ahead Thursday in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday: Sunny with a high near 81. South wind between 6 and 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Thursday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 57. Southeast wind between 6 and 13 mph.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a high near 73. Southeast wind between 6 and 13 mph.

Friday Night: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a low around 58. East, southeast wind between 6 and 11 mph.

Saturday: A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 75. East, northeast wind between 6 and 11 mph.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 57.
