Lighting changes sought for Shawnee gym
SHAWNEE — The Shawnee School Board has asked engineers to redo the lighting inside Shawnee High School ’s new gymnasium.
The board Monday asked PSA Consulting Engineers to find a way to double the amount of light in the gym, officials said.
Superintendent Marilyn Bradford said the lights produce enough light for games to be played, but not enough for the games to be broadcast on television.
