Fewer than 40 minutes before air time, Toby Rowland had no edited highlights, no final scores.
He smiled as he bounced around the editing room, though, because this is how Friday nights go.
"We go on the air at 10:21," Rowland said of the Friday Football Blitz, KWTV NEWS 9's high school highlight show. "We have nothing at 9:45."
