/> Lincoln Christian head coach Darren Melton told his team after the game that he had never been around such an impressive goal-line stand.

"Momentum’s got to be established somewhere, and I think that’s where it really was established,” Melton said. "It could have gone either way right there.”

It went to Lincoln Christian, and so did the rest of the game. Lawwill made up for his fumble on his next carry — a 52-yard burst into Huskies territory that jumpstarted the offense.

The Bulldogs ended that drive on a 21-yard touchdown pass from Cale Grauer to Roman Wilson. Lincoln Christian scored on its next five possessions to blow open the game.

Lawwill finished with 204 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries. He also became the first player in school history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in a season. The 5-foot-10, 181-pound senior is up to 2,046 yards this year with one game remaining.

"He’s been everything we thought he would be,” Melton said, "and more.”
