NEW YORK (AP) — The Long Island Rail Road says there'll be seven trains canceled in this evening's rush hour commute due to last night's freight train derailment west of Jamaica.

Also canceled is a Hunters Point Avenue train originating from Jamaica.

LIRR says evening and morning rush hour service will experience cancellations and disruptions through Friday.

Crews are working to repair the track which is expected to take at least until Friday. The railroad says there were no injuries in the derailment.
