BRYANA WADE, ST. MARY→Class: Sophomore →Position: Catcher →The story: MSM was one of the biggest surprises this season and Wade was a big reason why. Hit .586 with five home runs and 25 RBIs as Rockets made state tournament.
ALI VANDEVER, DAVENPORT→Class: Senior →Position: Infielder →The story: Team leader in every way possible for Davenport. Hit .409 and had 24 RBIs while scoring 33 times as Bulldogs made state semifinals.
PEYTON WATSON, LITTLE AXE→Class: Junior →Position: Infielder →The story: Coach Mike Bread calls Watson a difference maker who can change the game with one swing. Watson had 10 doubles to go with 25 runs scored and a .464 average.
ASHLEY BALL, WASHINGTON→Class: Senior →Position: Infielder →The story: Led a balanced team with 23 RBIs and also moved from outfielder to third base with little difficulty this season.
SHELBY BLANTON, NEWCASTLE→Class: Senior →Position: Infielder →The story: Coach Mike Crossley said Blanton has all the tools in her arsenal. Hit .410 and scored 31 runs and played outstanding at shortstop. Has signed with Tulsa.
BROOKE FARMER, BETHANY→Class: Senior →Position: Outfielder →The story: Set the single-season school record with a .533 batting average this season while also having 27 RBIs and scoring 25 times.
KAYLEE BRUNSON, TUTTLE→Class: Junior →Position: Outfielder →The story: Coach Jerry Bates calls Brunson the spark plug of the team. Brunson hit .453 and scored 43 runs with 38 stolen bases as Tuttle reached state final.
SARAH PEOPLES, PIEDMONT→Class: Senior →Position: Outfielder →The story: Helped Piedmont make state tournament for fourth year in a row. Hit over .400 and had more than 50 stolen bases. Has signed with Oklahoma Christian.
LESLIE MILLER, BLANCHARD→Class: Sophomore Position: Utility →The story: Put it all together at the right time in leading Blanchard to state title. Hit .446 with 33 RBIs and was also 12-5 on the mound with 202 strikeouts.
