The Oklahoma City Thunder lost 110-100 to the Miami Heat on Thursday at Chesapeake Energy Arena. The Oklahoman's Darnell Mayberry, John Rohde and Anthony Slater provided coverage via Twitter. Here's a recap

@okcthunder 4:57 p.m. Serge Ibaka on the floor, preparing for Heat. 7p TNT. Thunder.nba.com vine.co/v/brMaAizLt92

5:12 p.m. LeBron James just arrived at the arena wearing all black everything. Right down to leather gloves. Message on Valentine's Day??

5:23 p.m. #Thunder vs #Heat tips in 2 hours. Kevin Durant GameDay interview @ nba.com/thunder/video/…

5:31 p.m. Erik Spoelstra: "We've got a lot of dynamic personalities in that locker room...It'd be hard to come in and fit in if you were a square."

5:58 p.m. So much for those Shane Battier wig-wearing, in-game promos for the Lady Gaga concert. "The Battier curse," he said, with that tour now off.

5:59 p.m. "The bar must have been set too high," Battier said of South Beach Battioke going on by not Lady Gaga at AmericanAirlines Arena.

6:01 p.m. Erik Spoelstra said he has not looked into any All-Star personnel issues yet, including whether Carmelo Anthony will be available.

6:03 p.m. Erik Spoelstra, on this season's Thunder, "More experience; more years. . . same thing we went through."

6:04 p.m. It was interesting how Spoelstra said pregame that Durant was having an "MVP-type year," lest there be any confusion on where he stands.

6:05 p.m. Erik Spoelstra, on LeBron James' season, "He's not letting opponents off the hook."

6:06 p.m. Of those who contend the Heat can be beaten by height and brawn, Spoelstra said, "keep on perceiving that."

6:07 p.m. Spoelstra, on Chris Andersen, "We got to know him pre-tattoo, several years ago."

6:08 p.m. Spoelstra, on how the Birdman fits, "It's probably would be a tough locker room to come into if you're just a square."

6:09 p.m. The Heat are taking the long way home, dropping off their All-Star contingent in Houston before completing the trip back to Miami.

6:12 p.m. LeBron, on what's impressed him about Durant, "I just like the fact that he's continued to grow as a leader."

6:21 p.m. For starters: A look at lineups, inactives, referees and a pregame note of note for Heat-Thunder sunsent.nl/12Pvf3Q 8 p.m., TNT.

6:31 p.m. Haslem and Pittman inactive for Heat. Varnado active.

6:34 p.m. Miss not being home for Valentine's Day, but know best sports wife in America is watching Heat, Panthers at home same as if I was there.

6:45 p.m. Of the Thunder's 3 home losses this season, 2 have come vs Eastern Conference opponents; they are 17-1 vs West but "just" 6-2 vs East.

7:02 p.m. Dwyane Wade (50.7%), Kevin Durant (51.9%) and LeBron James (56.5%) are all shooting a career-high in field goal percentage.

7:17 p.m. These red Heat throwbacks are pretty sweet. Reminiscent of the Alonzo Mourning/Tim Hardaway days.

7:20 p.m. Thunder fans here stand until they score. They're still standing.

7:23 p.m. Three of first four Thunder shots taken by Ibaka or Perkins, determined to make Heat pay for playing small.

7:26 p.m. Chris Bosh just went coast-to-coast for a reverse layup. Really.

7:29 p.m. Danny Crawford just admonished, vigorously, the Thunder official scorer courtside to stop officiating the game. Ejection could be next.

7:30 p.m. Crawford told the scorer he's done it, gestured about fouls, in previous games and he's not going to take it anymore.

7:30 p.m. LeBron with some kind words and a handshake for Scott Brooks during that last timeout. Mutual respect.

7:31 p.m. High-percentage LeBron takes a 3-pointer as his second shot after a transition layup, makes it. 2 for 2.

7:34 p.m. No Haslem, two Battier fouls lead to early Rashard Lewis.

7:36 p.m. Heat open up an early 24-13 lead with Kendrick Perkins on the court. Cue the 'bad matchup' analysis (which I somewhat agree with).

7:40 p.m. Kevin Durant's 11th technical of the season. Now alone in 2nd in the NBA (one behind DeMarcus Cousins). Really piling them up.

7:40 p.m. Thunder 5/17 FG (29.4 percent). Durant now has 11 technical fouls; 5 away from one-game suspension.

7:41 p.m. Kevin Durant technical. Brooks furious over what he perceives as unfair whistle. Thunder official scorer behaving politely.

7:42 p.m. Horrible fall for Durant on rebound attempt. The thud here was positively frightening.

7:42 p.m. KD goes down HARD. Fans clamoring for a foul. Going crazy, really. But it didn't really look like one.

7:44 p.m. Second foul for high-foul-volume Birdman, with Joel Anthony now entering.

7:44 p.m. Angry fan behind me has sarcastically yelled 'LeBron never fouls' at the refs about five times in the past minute. Crowd is lively.

7:47 p.m. After one, the Heat leads the Thunder 32-17. LeBron James has 11 points, five rebounds and two assists. He's made 3 of 5 shots.

7:47 p.m. LeBron 3 for 5, Cole at buzzer. Heat up 32-17 after first, pending review of last call.

7:47 p.m. Miami up 32-17 on OKC after one. LeBron with 11 points, 5 boards, 2 assists already. KD 0/2 with 2 points. Rough quarter.

7:48 p.m. The 18 rebounds in the first quarter tie the Heat high for rebounds in any quarter this season. And that's with Haslem sidelined.

7:48 p.m. The Thunder is shooting 6-for-19 (31.6 percent). Durant and Westbrook struggling early. They're a combined 2-for-9 from the field.

7:48 p.m. Q1 is done in OKC. #Thunder trails #Heat 32-17 on #TNT. TV Companion and Live Chat at thunder.nba.com

7:49 p.m. The Heat six offensive rebounds in the first quarter also tied the Heat's high for any quarter this season.

7:51 p.m. Durant now 0/5 FG; #Thunder is 6/20 FG (30 percent).

7:56 p.m. When they're clicking (and they always seem to be against OKC), Heat rotation is filled with weapons. Rashard Lewis now drilling threes.

7:57 p.m. Video of Kevin Durant's hard fall. Didn't even miss a second of action after: youtube.com/watch?v=J2F4os…

8:00 p.m. Chris Bosh with 8 points/5 rebounds right now. Perkins/Ibaka/Collison combined for only 6 points/4 rebounds. OKC can't have that.

8:03 p.m. Kevin Durant 0 for 6 and has played every minute. He wants to complain about officiating even more, but with one T, he can't.

8:03 p.m. Miami extends the lead during the five minutes LeBron was on the bench. He's back now. Heat up 17.

8:05 p.m. Well, if you saw his movie, you'd know he's not an actor. RT @BigHatLogan1989 What an actress this Kevin Durant guy is. Sheesh...

8:07 p.m. Before game, Erik Spoelstra said Heat confident they can win on the road, handle the boards against anyone. For now, check. Check.

8:11 p.m. Rashard Lewis again offered quality minutes. Battier back in now.

8:11 p.m. Durant now 0 for 7.

8:13 p.m. Ray Allen working his way through. Heat defense has been terrific.

8:14 p.m. And now it begins? Durant first make a 3-pointer with 4:22 to play in second quarter. Had been 0 for 7 from field.

8:16 p.m. LeBron 3 of 7. Durant apparently is contagious (he's 1 of 9).

8:16 p.m. Feel free to share what OKC is doing well. RT @lcdollarjr Yeah, how many more ways can you find, to say the Thunder suck

8:18 p.m. LeBron with 13 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. Still three minutes til halftime. Monster triple-double if he keeps that pace.

8:19 p.m. KD and Westbrook a combined 3-of-17 shooting. OKC shooting 25.8% as a team.

8:19 p.m. #Thunder (25.8% FG) has been outscored 39-17 from the field so far.

8:22 p.m. Thunder seizing on Westbrook vs. Chalmers.

8:22 p.m. We're seeing Westbrook's worth and why sometimes he needs to take more shots than Durant.

8:23 p.m. LeBron. Oh my.

8:24 p.m. This is LeBron's highest scoring first half. It was 21 vs. Golden State. His high for any half is 32 at Houston.

8:25 p.m. Think Thunder will take double-fouls on LeBron-Ibaka? Every time. Now technical on LeBron. These referees have lost all control, both ways.

8:26 p.m. Maybe official scorer who got admonished was right, one of the worst officiated games witnessed this season, totally have lost all control.

8:27 p.m. Yes, LeBron launched a few F bombs. It also was probably what Durant, already with a T, was thinking.

8:27 p.m. LeBron looking like the MVP, Chris Bosh playing like the best big man on the floor, Maimi stomping OKC 63-46 at halftime.

8:27 p.m. Another Heat buzzer beater, this time Bosh. Up 63-46 at half. No word on whether league is sending in new crew for second half.

8:28 p.m. LeBron: 7/11 FG, 3/4 3FG, 23 points, 8 boards, 4 assists and 2 steals at halftime. Playing MORE dominant than those #'s indicate.

8:30 p.m. Russ scores 20, KD 14 but #Heat leads #Thunder at halftime 63-46. Thunder.nba.com pic.twitter.com/wswiDVBB

8:32 p.m. At halftime, the Heat leads the Thunder 63-46.

8:37 p.m. Want negative? Re-trace your own tweets. Too obvious? MT @lcdollarjr "all you can do is state the obvious, over and over"

8:42 p.m. Shane Battier chats briefly with #Thunder owner Aubrey McClendon at halftime. #twodukies

8:46 p.m. KD and Westbrook productive (34 combined points) but inefficient (7-of-21 shooting) in the first half.
