Oklahoma bands and songwriters get the spotlight beginning at 5 p.m. Friday and 11:45 a.m. Saturday at the fourth annual Live Music on the Canal, a festival offering free performances on five stages by about 200 musicians in 70 showcases in Bricktown.

This year's lineup includes Jabee, Stephen Speaks, Dustin Prinz, Allie Lauren and The Secret Post.

Live Music on the Canal is produced by Gwinner Studios, which began the event in 2010 as a way to bring local music to Bricktown visitors.

“The whole concept is all Okie, all original,” said Jessica Gwinner, who also is director of sales and marketing for Gwinner Studios, in a news release.

The complete schedule for the festival is available online at and on www.Facebook/livemusiconthecanal.
