Oklahoma football: Stacy McGee will not play against Texas, Nila Kasitati injured

The Oklahoman's Jason Kersey, Stephanie Kuzydym and Mike Sherman provided live coverage via Twitter of today's press conference at OU. It followed OU's 41-20 win over Texas Tech in Lubbock. The Sooners will be in Dallas on Saturday for OU/Texas.

Oklahoma football coach Bob Stoops said Monday that suspended defensive lineman Stacy McGee will not play in Saturday's game vs. Texas.

McGee has been suspended since before the start of the season for an undisclosed violation of university rules.

Stoops also said backup offensive lineman Nila Kasitati likely has a torn ACL, though the team is waiting on results from an MRI.

OU and Texas square off at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. The game will be televised by ABC (Cox 8).
