FASHION
Hot Swatch
Women who wear expensive, big name watches — we're talking Rolex, Cartier and Tiffany — are lining up in droves for, get this, a Swatch. Full Blooded, a beefy men's style, is getting snatched up in the shiny gold-tone version and is a whole lot of fashion statement for $150. The rage is said to have begun in Paris (oh, those chic Parisians!) and has spread like mad to hip, urban markets such as Los Angeles and New York.

Designer teddy bear
Ever felt like cuddling up with Karl Lagerfeld?

A German company is making a high-style teddy bear modeled on the Paris-based fashion designer, right down to his white-collared shirt and jet black tie.

The Steiff company, which makes stuffed animals, got Lagerfeld's blessing to design the bear. It will be offered in a limited edition of 2,500 — at a price of about $1,450 per bear.

The bear will be available starting Sept. 15 through the company's Web site or in select stores.

The bear is covered in alpaca wool and stands 15 inches tall. It will be decked out in clothes and accessories Lagerfeld approved — sunglasses, jeans and a belt buckle studded with his own initials.

EXHIBITION
Photo fatigue
Penn Square Mall is hosting a Chronic Fatigue Syndrome photo exhibition running through Monday.

"The Faces of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome” features 10 portraits from well-known photographer George Lange, who photographed eight patients and two CFS experts for the traveling exhibit. The exhibit includes quotes from participants about the impact CFS has had on people's lives.

The $6 million dollar campaign is sponsored by the federal Centers for Disease Control.
