Q:How did you get started?

A:Luke Tallon, drums: I just asked for drums for Christmas five years ago and have been playing ever since. I was about 13. We've collectively been a band about three or four months.

Q:Tell me about your first show.

A:It was pretty exciting. We had about 200 to 300 people there, a lot of friends and family. We kind of organized it ourselves.

We have a friend at the rodeo arena who let us use it; it was pretty good. The people had a good time, so it was a lot of fun.

Q:How many songs do you do? Do you change your set list depending on where you play?

A:We do about 20 to 25. Yes, we kind of clean it up for more public shows.

Q:What are some of your influences?

A:Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jason Boland, Johnny Cooper, Stoney LaRue, Wade Boland, people like that with Red Dirt.

Q:What sets you apart from other Red Dirt bands?

A:For one, we are still in high school. The voices are unique. We can do a variety of songs. We have a pretty unique talent, I'd say.

Q:Do you do mostly covers or your own stuff? What's your favorite song to do?

A:Mostly covers for now since we are just getting started. We are fixing to incorporate originals into our set list. Probably, a Jason Boland song called "Fallin' with Style.”

Q:How do you add your own twist to it?

A:We kind of add more of a rock sound to it.

Q:Why haven't you been discovered yet?

A:We are too young to play at bars and stuff. We have a lot of friends in Stillwater who think they can get us places to play.

Q:How long does it take to find your sound?

A:You have to experiment for a while. We probably haven't found our definite sound yet. We're still experimenting with a whole lot of different things. Probably takes six months of practice. We just recently added a bass player. We will probably add a fiddle player and work some small details into it.
