•Lonni Alameda, Florida State head coach: Alameda was a two-time All-Big Eight selection (1992-93) as an infielder at OU, and now has the Seminoles in the WCWS for the first time since 2004.

T.J. Hubbard, La.-Lafayette assistant: Hubbard was a three-year letter winner in baseball at Oklahoma Wesleyan (1999-02) and served as an assistant at Seminole State in 2004, when the team went 64-16.

Shelbi Redfearn, La.-Lafayette outfielder: The former four-year star at Stillwater High School has started all 58 games for the Ragin’ Cajuns this season, hitting .309 with 15 home runs and 49 RBIs.

Kallie Case, Alabama outfielder: Case’s father Scott, who was born in Waynoka, was a standout defensive back at OU (1982-83) before playing 12 season in the NFL. Her mother, Connie, played softball at Northeastern A&M. Kallie is currently hitting .340 with 18 stolen bases as the everyday starter in left field.
