The OU football team finished the season with its highest rating of the season, a 41.9 rating and 71.4 share in the Fiesta Bowl on KOKH-25. Nationally, the Fiesta ranked third among four BCS bowls. The BCS championship was No. 1 with a 17.4 rating (28.7 million viewers), followed by the Sugar Bowl, 9.3 (14.4 million viewers); Fiesta Bowl, 8.3 (13.7 million viewers and Orange Bowl, 7.0 (10.7 million viewers). The Rose Bowl on ABC earned a 13.9 (22 million viewers).
