Local researcher has new treatment for carpal tunnel syndrome

Eight million Americans have carpal tunnel syndrome, which causes horrible wrist pain.

It's thought to be caused by overuse and is treated by the patient wearing stiff plastic splints on their wrists and forearms.

Well, a local researcher is challenging every one of those presumptions, and he says he's come up with a new way to cure carpal tunnel syndrome.
