RED OAK — Latimer County authorities continue to search for a family that was last seen more than four months ago. Bobby and Sherrilynn Jamison and their 6-year-old daughter, Madyson, all of Eufaula, were last seen on Oct. 9. Their locked pickup was found near Red Oak on Oct. 17 with the family’s dog inside along with a cell phone, clothing, cash and other items. Their cell phone had last been used on Oct. 8. Sheriff Israel Beauchamp said authorities are still looking for clues to the disappearance. "We have a (search) team out of Michigan going to come down in the spring,” Beauchamp said. Beauchamp said there hasn’t been an active search for the family since December. The sheriff’s office receives reports of two or three sightings a month, but all have turned out to be false, he said. The pickup was found about 30 miles from the family’s home. Beauchamp said in October the family had gone to look at a couple of 40-acre plots of mountain land for possible purchase. More than 100 people helped search for the family in rugged terrain for several weeks. Anyone with information on the case can call the Latimer County Sheriff’s Department at (918) 465-2161.
