Logan County man accused in assault with baseball bat

GUTHRIE - A 30-year-old man is accused of assaulting two people with a knife and baseball bat.

Eddie Don Bobo of Guthrie is charged in Logan County District Court with three felonies -- domestic abuse, attempted assault and battery with intent to kill, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

Guthrie police were called to 701 E Lincoln where Rebeccah Roberts, 24, Bobo's girlfriend, said the man claimed he was going to kill her, a court affidavit states.

David Petty, 34, was hit with a baseball bat when he tried to help Roberts, records show.
