'Lone Ranger' stories have Oklahoma ties

Iconic Lone Ranger has been written, drawn by Oklahomans.

Odom said he's loved the Lone Ranger character since he was a young boy growing up in Lawton, where he became a fan of the TV show starring Clayton Moore. He calls the Lone Ranger a “perfect mix of cowboy and superhero.”

“The Lone Ranger is going to be one of those iconic characters that never rides off into the sunset,” Odom said. “We need heroes like him — an underdog who fights the good fight, doesn't kill, and has some serious mojo when the chips are down.”
