GAINESVILLE, Fla. (AP) — The elimination game between Long Beach State and North Carolina at the Gainesville regional has been suspended until Monday due to inclement weather.

The game will resume in the top of the seventh inning with Long Beach State leading 5-4 with runners on first and second base and one out.

Ino Patron and Michael Hill have home runs for Long Beach State, while Skye Bolt has one for North Carolina.

The winner of the completed game between Long Beach State and North Carolina will face the College of Charleston on Monday. If the College of Charleston wins Monday, the Cougars would advance to the super regionals; if they lose, there would be a deciding game Tuesday.
