Thunder's Grant Long maturing into analyst role

Similar to the way the Oklahoma City Thunder is growing up as an NBA team, Grant Long is maturing as the team’s television analyst.

Long, a 14-year NBA veteran, has made excellent strides since the start of the season, teaming with enthusiastic play-by-play announcer Brian Davis. Although Long has some broadcast experience with the Atlanta Hawks, he spent the past two seasons in player development with his alma mater, Eastern Michigan.

"I think Grant quickly has become one of the best analysts in the league,” said Ken Adelson, Thunder senior vice president and executive producer. "He has great court vision. He sees the game from the perspective as a player, as a coach and a fan.
