Norman: Norman Day Celebration, Thursday, Reaves Park, 2501 Jenkins Ave. Activities begin in late afternoon with fireworks at 9:45 p.m. Events include food booths, baby crawl, nickel find, inflatables, pony rides, watermelon feed and live music. Information: 321-1600.

Oklahoma City: Bricktown 4th Fest; Thursday, Corner of Sheridan and Oklahoma, 4 p.m. to midnight. Live music and fireworks. Information: www.bricktown4thfest.com.

Yukon: Freedom Fest, Thursday, Yukon City Park and Chisholm Trail Park. Children’s parade, free swimming, car show, sand volleyball tournament, live music, free watermelon and ice cream at Chisholm Trail Park, fireworks at dusk. Information: 350-8937.
