Looking to the weekend weather ...

Shower and thunderstorm chances will return late Saturday as an upper level wave approaches the plains.

An upper level wave will move across the plains Sunday along with a cold front late Sunday into Monday.

Shower and thunderstorm chances will continue Sunday with the best chances Sunday afternoon and night.

A few strong to severe storms may be possible Sunday afternoon and evening.

Showers and thunderstorms will continue to end from west to east Monday as the cold front moves across the southern Plains.
