Louisiana College women return to NCAA tourney

PINEVILLE, La. (AP) — Louisiana College women's basketball team makes a fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament with a first round matchup against Rhodes College on Friday.

The game will be played at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn.
The Lady Wildcats lost the chance to represent the American Southwest Conference as an automatic qualifier with their 67-63 loss to Texas-Dallas on Sunday in the league title game.
Rhodes (24-3) comes in as the Southern Athletic Association's automatic qualifier after winning their conference championship.
Louisiana College (24-4) shares three common opponents with the Lynx: Mississippi College, Millsaps and LeTourneau.
