No. 4 OKLAHOMA (1-0) at TULSA (1-0), noon ET (ABC)

Line: Oklahoma by 24 ½.

Series Record: Oklahoma leads 18-7-1.

WHAT'S AT STAKE

Florida State and Alabama struggled in their openers against unranked teams and lost ground in the poll. The Sooners can't afford to look less than dominant if they don't want strikes against them when it comes time for playoff teams to be chosen. The Sooners have a chance to put forth a second consecutive dominant win after rolling past Louisiana Tech 48-16 in Week 1.

KEY MATCHUP

Tulsa's offensive line against Oklahoma's front seven: Tulsa has a fleet of big, fast receivers who can do damage if quarterback Dane Evans gets time. The sophomore threw for 438 yards in the season opener against Tulane, the ninth-best total in school history. Oklahoma believes it has the best front seven in the nation, and the Sooners expect that unit to prevent Evans from getting into a rhythm.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Oklahoma: Samaje Perine. The true freshman led the Sooners with 77 yards on 13 carries in the opener against Louisiana Tech. The 5-foot-10, 243-pound wrecking ball matches up with a defense that surrendered 268 yards rushing on 30 carries against Tulane, including 215 to Sherman Badie.

Tulsa: WRs Keevan Lucas and Keyarris Garrett. Lucas had 13 catches for 233 yards and three touchdowns in the opener against Tulane. Garrett, a 6-foot-4, 221-pound matchup nightmare, plays a key role in getting Lucas open. Garrett had five catches for 87 yards last week after missing most of last season with a broken leg.
