Mabee-Gerrer Museum offers mixed media art clinic

SHAWNEE, Okla. (AP) — The Mabee-Gerrer Museum of Art on the campus of St. Gregory's University is offering a mixed media art clinic next week for students ages 11 to 18.

The July 9-11 class intends to guide students through an intensive art experience incorporating painting, collage, and drawing to create artworks inspired by the work of Oklahoma artist Denise Duong. 

The class is intended for students who are interested in art and is open to all skill levels. Advanced registration is required

Tuition —including supplies— for the clinic is $55 for non-members and $45 for members. Discounts are offered for siblings and scholarships are available.
