Texas coach Mack Brown has produced some memorable quotes. Saturday's sound bytes weren't in the class of Brown's "Let me answer that for Chris (Simms)” line, but Brown offered some curious responses to questions about his team's struggles:

Q: Mack, you've seen a lot of big drives in games like this. How about OU's 94-yard drive?
A: I thought it was a great drive. We answered about every time that they scored and they answered and I thought that's why it was such a great game. I think we had a 65-yard drive right before that.
Q: After Jermichael Finley's big first half (135 yards on three catches), what did OU do in the second half to limit him to one catch for 14 yards?
A: Nothing. I thought Jermichael played really well in the second half, too. He and Colt (McCoy) did a great job. I thought it was a great football game.
Q: Was Limas Sweed OK at the end of the game or was he hurt? He wasn't on the field the last two drives.
A: I don't know. I haven't been told. I don't know anything.
