Macy's to launch three new brands

Macy’s is going after younger customers with the launch of three new collections,  QMack, Maison Jules and Bar III Carnaby Collection.

QMack is a 13-piece line that has been descri bed as Blake Lively meets Zoe Saldana and a “mix between Charlotte and Carrie in “Sex and the City.” Named after the label’s fictional muse Quincey Mack, the line will include shrunken blazers and cardigans to printed blouses, pants and leather bombers. Prices range from $29 to $299. The brand will launch in 150 stores and on Macys.com starting Aug. 1.

Maison Julles is a French-inspired line designed to attract women 18 to 30. Basics will begin at  $17.50. Woven tops are $59 and pants are priced at $44.  The first collection will land in 151 Macy’s stores and online in August.

Men aren’t left out. Bar III Carnaby Collection is a new private label and an extension of the Bar III brand which was launched two years ago. Expect dress shirts, sports coats, neckties, vests, trousers and suit separates with a nod to London’s Savile Row, without the hefty price.  Prices will be less than $300. The Carnably Collection will be available in select Macy’s and online on Sept. 1.
