Magic beat Hawks for consecutive victories

Vaughn credited the victory to the Magic's defensive play.

"We had some great stops tonight," he said. "We're at the point where we're doing that game by game. Next is to see if we can do it quarter by quarter. And then, ultimately, possession by possession."

The Hawks, although they wouldn't use it as an excuse, appeared worn down by three consecutive overtime games, including one at home just the night before.

"I don't know when fatigue comes in," Atlanta coach Mike Budenholzer said. "Obviously, we had enough to come back and take the lead. I think you have to give Orlando credit more than anything. They made some plays and their defense picked up and we weren't able to execute."
