Maine home heating oil prices on the rise
AUGUSTA, Maine (AP) — The average price of home heating oil in Maine has jumped a nickel in the past week to an average of $3.77 per gallon.
The director of the state Office of Energy Independence and Security said Monday the price is being driven up by world events, including a potential ban on Iranian crude oil and austerity measures passed by the Greek government.
