ORONO, Maine (AP) — The University of Maine faces Boston College in the Black Bears' season opener in Chestnut Hill, Mass.
Game time is 1 p.m. Saturday in the second matchup between Maine and BC since 2006, when the Eagles won 22-0.
The Black Bears finished last season 9-4, advancing to the NCAA Final Eight and finishing at No. 8 in the final national rankings.
Maine's Marcus Wasilewski will be the starting quarterback, after a battle between him and John Ebeling for the position. Ebeling will still see playing time at the wide receiver position.
