Major League Baseball spring training games begin this week

The Major League Baseball season starts a week early this season. Traditional Opening Day is Monday, March 31. The Dodgers and Diamondbacks open the season March 22-23 with a two-game series in Sydney, Australia. The Dodgers also play the Sunday night opener (March 30) at San Diego.

Spring training games begin this week. Listed below is each team's first spring-training game versus another MLB team:

Wednesday: Arizona, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Detroit, Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Yankees, Oakland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, San Francisco, Toronto.

Thursday: Chicago Cubs, Kansas City, Milwaukee, San Diego, Seattle, Texas.

Friday: Baltimore, Boston, Chicago White Sox, Colorado, Houston, Los Angeles Angels, Miami, Minnesota, New York Mets, Tampa Bay, St. Louis, Washington.
