Even Kevin Durant's mother can see the on-court chemistry between her son and Thunder guard Russell Westbrook.

Durant and Westbrook went off in Game 2 against the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday, both nearly logging triple-doubles in the 112-101 victory. The decisive win came a day after Durant went all-in during his MVP speech, vouching for Westbrook as a player and a friend.

Durant's mother, Wanda Pratt saw the effects the speech had during Game 2, wrote Sam Amick of USA Today.

"They're clicking," Wanda Pratt, Durant's mother, told USA TODAY Sports about Durant and Westbrook from her courtside seat at Game 2. "They're in that special place.

"Kevin always spoke highly of him, so I think it resonated. He expressed how he felt about him, and they're clicking. They're clicking right now."
