Wanda Pratt, mother of Oklahoma City Thunder star forward Kevin Durant, will be the featured guest at two events hosted by the Oklahoma Ladies for Christian Education group.
Pratt will be part of the organization’s golf tournament fundraiser set for Friday at John Conrad Golf Course, 711 S Douglas Blvd., in Midwest City.
Registration is set for 8 a.m. and the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 9. Four individuals who participated in an auction to play on “Mama Durant’s Team” will play with Pratt as part of her tournament team. Lunch will be served at noon.
The cost to participate in the tournament is $75 per person.
Meanwhile, Pratt will speak at the Christian education group’s 37th annual National Dinner Day event set for 5 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 18 at the Marriott Waterford, 6300 Waterford Blvd.

Tickets are $50. The deadline for registration to attend the black-tie event is Oct. 10. All proceeds will benefit Southwestern Christian College, a historically black college in Terrell, Texas.
