BARTLESVILLE — A 19-year-old Bartlesville man was charged in Washington County District Court with assault with a dangerous weapon after allegedly shooting at children with an airsoft gun as they went past his home.
Christopher Lee Gosch appeared in court this week on the felony charge after being arrested on a warrant. Associate District Judge Russell Vaclaw set bond at $2,000 and ordered Gosch to have no contact with the victim. He returns to court June 13.
Bartlesville Police Department was called several times about recurring problems with shooting in the neighborhood, according to a court affidavit. The incident upon which the charge against Gosch was filed occurred April 23 when a 9-year-old girl reported he fired at her from his front porch.
