William Everett Brownfield, 34, was arrested on a complaint of indecent exposure.

According to a police report, the woman was driving west on I-40 near Morgan Road when a car pulled in behind her and then abruptly changed lanes and sped up to pull alongside her. The woman glanced over at the driver, who nodded his head downward. She then noticed he had his pants and underwear down, and he began to masturbate.

The woman exited on Czech Hall Road while the other driver kept going west. When the woman exited I-40, she noticed an Oklahoma City police officer on a motorcycle and flagged him down, telling him what had happened.

Using the woman's description of the vehicle, the officer caught up to the car and pulled it over. The woman identified the driver, Brownfield, as the man who had exposed himself and masturbated.

He disputed her story and told the officer he was trying to get over to exit and the woman would not let him over, so he threw his hands up at her. The officer didn't believe Brownfield's story in part because he continued on the highway miles from where the incident occurred, the report said.

Brownfield was taken to the Oklahoma County jail.
