A man wanted in connection with a double homicide earlier this month was arrested Sunday, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

Dawaylon Bernard Rainey, 33, of Hugo, surrendered Sunday afternoon at the Choctaw County sheriff's office, OSBI spokeswoman Jessica Brown said.

Rainey was wanted on a felony warrant of two counts of first-degree murder, she said.

Rainey, who goes by the street name of “Hog,” was implicated by a witness in an Aug. 4 shooting at the Southwind Acres apartment complex.

Floyd Devin Clegg, 23, of Colbert, and Qualin Hayden, 19, of Sherman, Texas, each were shot multiple times. Both were pronounced dead at a hospital, Brown said.
