Man arrested in rape of 13-year-old girl

Tulsa police arrested a man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl in her home early Wednesday.

Jamal Thomas, 33, is being held at the Tulsa Jail on a complaint of first-degree rape of a minor.

The girl’s mother gave Thomas, who is an acquaintance of the family, a key to the home on a previous occasion. He’s accused of entering the residence and sexually assaulting the girl around 1:30 a.m., according to the arrest report.
