A man was arrested after a woman was stabbed three times outside an Oklahoma City convenience store, police reported.

Steven Grant Olson, 24, was arrested Tuesday following the stabbing at Outback Pizza & Groceries, 2601 S Portland Ave., according to a police report.

Olson walked out of the convenience store after an argument with fellow customer Lafranze Wimberly, 38. When Wimberly left the store, Olson attacked her with a knife in the parking lot, the report states.

Wimberly suffered a fractured spine from one stab wound and also had other stab wounds on her back and right side of her face, according to the report.

She was listed in good condition at OU Medical Center, a hospital spokesman said Wednesday.

A witness saw the suspect with bloody hands run into a nearby vacant house and called the police, the report states.

Olson was taken to the Oklahoma County jail with bail set at $5,000, officials said. has disabled the comments for this article.
