Oklahoma City police have arrested a man on a homicide complaint in the drowning death of a 2-year-old girl. Allie Croom, 2, drowned at Lake Stanley Draper Thursday, Master Sgt. Gary Knight said.
Donnie Reeser, 29, a boyfriend of the girl's mother, was arrested Thursday night, Knight said. About 5:30 p.m. police were called to Midwest City Regional Hospital where detectives began looking into the girl's death. Investigators developed probable cause to believe that Reeser was at Lake Stanley Draper with the victim. Reeser allegedly forced the child under water until she drowned, police said. Reeser was taken to Oklahoma City police headquarters where investigators interviewed him and subsequently booked him into the Oklahoma County Jail on a murder complaint, Knight said.
