Arvin Williams was transported to a local hospital after he was cut on the side of his torso by a man armed with a box cutter. His wounds are not considered to be life-threatening.

After cutting Williams, police said the man got away in a blue Cadillac, but officers located the car Thursday morning and arrested a man who matched the suspect’s description. A blue box cutter and a small amount of methamphetamine were also found at the house.

Phillip Christopher Hardman, 19, was arrested on felony complaints of assault with a dangerous weapon and drug possession, as well as a misdemeanor theft complaint.
